Obviously guns are bad, and shouldn’t be used, but the girl in the second pic is a lot older than the little baby in the first one and has probably made the decision herself to have her ears pierced. 

Have any of you had your ears pierced as a baby? Are you glad your parents made the decision, or would you have preferred to wait until you could make the decision yourself? 

I’m glad my parents pierced my ears as a baby. And I totally agree with what you said. One of them also seems to be taken professionally, like they may be posing. The first seems to just be taken randomly.

I was about 6-8 years old when I had earrings, they used the gun and it traumatised me.

I agree with no guns, but this method of argument is totally unfair, that’s a bloody baby screaming its face off. Parents who get their babies ears pierced are wrong! The girl in the second is well happy cause she’s probably been waiting to get them pierced for ages and her parents are responsible enough to maker her wait.
